SH AVATAR (Kiowa Mon Manny-Tom S Caterwaul) Owned by Tom Sugihara, Jr. or Robert Hardison and racing for the Darren Flahive trained Hardison Kennel. Takes home the top prize in THE 2012 version of THE IOWA BREEDERS CLASSIC.
On a day where the track favored the outside. With the 8 Hole winning 6 of the first 14 races of the day. Avatar who loves the 8 hole went off as the betting favorite 90 cents to the dollar and he  was no dissapointment, winning by 4 1/2 lengths.

Here's how I seen the race.
The box opens up with the 1 L's FRay(Super Lee- Fast Frieda) breaks on top with JET FORCE(Kelsos Fusileer-All Embracing) a very close 2nd AVATAR 3rd. With the rush of a loaded freight train headed down hill Avatar shoots by both Fray and Jet and comes out of the turn on top. Followed closely by Fray and Jet and KILLER DARE(Gable Dodge- Slatex Sarah Liz) who got around the turn a close 4th but runs right into the rear of Jet and looses 4 or 5 lengths to the 3 in front. However  Dare builds up a burst of steam and goes by Jet going into the far turn and shoots by Fray coming out of the far turn to run second. Dare is owned by Alan Hill or Kirk Harlan and races for the Lori Fortune trained Harlan Brothers Kennel. Hanging on for third was Fray owned by Kenneth or Gary LeFebvre and racing for the Chuck Shelton trained Boeckenstedt Kennel. Running 4th was PEARLS OF WISDOM (Dodgem By Design- Complete Picture) owned by Mary Robinette and racing for the Monty Hoopes trained Plum Creek Kennel. Rounding out the field was JET FORCE owned by Robert or John Hardison and was Hardison second entry. KILLER BUDDIE (Dragon Fire-Slatex Sapphire) owned by Alan Hill or Kirk Harlan and was Harlan Brothers second entry.TOP OF THE PILE (Cayman Went-Metallica) owned by David Robinette and was Plum Creeks second entry.LK's STARBEAM(Kiowa Mon Manny-Jack's Goddess) owned by Jill Lashmet and running for the Crystal Reuer Trained Legg Kennel.
Congratulation to all the above mentioned dogs, trainers and owners for a GREAT race.
