Raymond is survived by his wife Carol Gubbels of Avoca, IA; sons: Lenny (Cathy) Gubbels of Council Bluffs, IA, Jeff "Weasel" Gubbels of Treynor, IA, and Tin "T-Bone" (Tina) Gubbels of Avoca, IA; 8 grandchildren; brothers: Gerald (Rita) Gubbels of Co. Bluffs, Vernon (Carol) Gubbels of Yankton, SD, Marvin (Judy) Gubbels of Penitas, TX, Lawrence (Joan) Gubbels of Co. Bluffs; and sister Dorothy (Ken) Arkfeld of Defiance, IA.
Lenny and Jeff were both familiar faces around Bluffs Run for years.
Lenny worked for the Mullen Kennel and Diamond Kennels. His wife Cathy still works for the Wilhite Kennel.
Jeff worked for The Mickim kennel for probably 15 years.
