Boc’s Moneymaker (Dominator – Contradiction) owned by Brad Boeckenstedt or Micky Hasty , racing for the Boeckenstedt Kennel and trained by Matt Kremer won her second race in a row. She can win from the outside and the inside.

Inspiring Desire (Be My Bubba – Message) owned by Michael Montoya, racing for the Mickim Kennel and trained by Jeff Gubbels won her race after being bumped out of her first race. She is a camera shy greyhound, not wanting to look at the camera. Inspiring Desire was the fastest greyhound in the race and by not getting into trouble she was able to prove she was the fastest in the race.

Boc’s Ozzie (Oswald Cobblepot – Rk Grandvacation) owned by Mickey Hasty or Brad Boeckenstedt, racing for the Boeckenstedt Kennel and trained by Matt Kremer went off as the favorite. He was able to catch and pass Moldy Express and hold off the late charging Marias John.

Shrewd Operator (Brett Lee – RL Mickey Lou) owned by David Robinette, racing for the Plum Creek Kennel and trained by Ray Brownlee raced in champion form. With this short field he easily took over the lead from the fading Dan Gable.

Wannawinsum Cash (Oswald Cobblepot – Grand Omaha) owned by Michael Montoya, racing for the Mickim Kennel and trained by Jeff Gubbels over came a huge deficit. She came back from 7 lengths to take the victory away from Rock N Cajun.

Yo My Reeseparks (Kido Shuffle – My Miss Gabby) owned by Mark Arno or Paul Paulk, racing for Woodall Kennels, Inc. and trained by Mark Arno broke on top and went box to wire to pull away from the rest of the field. Yo My Reeseparks was greyhound of the month for the month of August.

Accomplished (Craigie Whistler – Lonely Wind) owned by Mary Robinette, racing for the Plum Creek Kennel and trained by Ray Brownlee she went off as the favorite. She has now won four in a row and is easily becoming the favorite to make history and win the $425,000 Iowa Breeders Classic.

It’s My Gif (Oshkosh Slammer – D’s Bye Bye Baby) owned by David Robinette, racing for the Plum Creek Kennel and trained by Ray Brownlee ran a very close race over taking the lead from Sw’s Joey ju st before the wire.
